Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Drovby mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Technology Junction ("Drovby", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You will not: misuse or interfere with the Service; attempt to access it by unauthorized means; reverse engineer or copy the app except as permitted by law; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or use the Service to violate the rights of others.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the vehicle records, documents, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and for keeping your own backups where important.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• Drovby offers a free plan and paid plans (Plus, Business/Pro, and Enterprise) as described on our pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those platforms and governed by their terms. Prices are shown at purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store through which you purchased. Enterprise plans are governed by a separate written agreement.

5. Third-party recommendations

Drovby may show fuel stations, garages, and service providers near you, along with ratings sourced from third parties. These are provided for convenience only and are not endorsements. We do not operate these businesses and are not responsible for the services they provide, their pricing, or the accuracy of third-party ratings. Verify details independently before relizing on them.

6. Maintenance disclaimer

Drovby helps you record information and generates reminders as an aid to help you stay organized. Reminders, health indicators, and cost or economy figures are estimates based on the data you enter and are not a substitute for professional inspection or the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. You are solely responsible for the actual maintenance, roadworthiness, and safe operation of your vehicles. Always follow your manufacturer's guidance and consult a qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Drovby / Technology Junction and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate or preserved.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drovby and Technology Junction will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or vehicle-related costs, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of [jurisdiction], unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
